WHAT IS SIS?
The Simultaneous Interpreting System (SIS) is an audio equipment system that enables the interpreter’s voice to be heard at the time of simultaneous interpreting, while the speaker is speaking.
By simultaneous, we mean the spontaneous/live words being spoken. With this method of interpretation, the interpreter does not wait for the speaker to finish speaking.
The interpreter begins translating verbally the moment the speaker begins speaking in the source language, so that participants of the event do not need to understand the speaker’s language, but receive a real-time interpretation of what is being said in their language, at the time it is being spoken.
TYPES OF SIS
We provide single-channel and multi-channel SIS rental services.
The single-channel system may be used for one language pair, for example, Indonesian-English. The multi-channel system may be used for more than one language pair, for example, Indonesian-English, Indonesian-Japanese, etc.
PORTABLE SIS
In addition to the SIS we install at the venue, we also provide a portable SIS which can be used while the person is moving.
The portable SIS can also be used by tour guides who are guiding tourists around tourist destinations, at manufacturing companies for a factory tours, audits, field work inspections and many more locations.
INTERPRETER BOOTH
An interpreter booth is a temporary unit that is easily assembled and dismantled.
The function of the booth is to mitigate outside noises to ensure they do not get picked up by the interpreter’s microphone. Booths also minimize outside distractions that may affect the quality of the interpreter’s work.
The booth is constructed with transparent front, left and right walls so that the interpreter can read an onstage monitor and also assess the situation on the floor. We supply 2m x 2m booths that are large enough for two interpreters to use at the same time.
The interpreter booth rental fee includes set up and clear up (assembling and disassembling by our technician).
DELEGATE MICROPHONE
To facilitate the success of meetings, discussions, conference events and more, we not only facilitate interpreter services and SIS rental services, but we are also able to supply delegate microphones for small, medium and large-scale events across Indonesia.
Our technicians understand the ins and outs of this audio equipment and will be on standby from the start to the end of the event.
There is no minimum order, if you are also renting the SIS/TGS and/or an interpreter booth. The rental fee includes set up and clear up by our technicians.
TELEPROMPTER
Often referred to as a teleprompter, autocue, cue, or prompter, this piece of equipment is specially designed to display a script onscreen. Teleprompters are commonly used at TV studios to help newsreaders but are also used to assist in speeches.
We provide teleprompter rental services to be used for speeches, public speaking, general meetings and other events. The on-screen display will be managed by our trained operator, who will operate the teleprompter from the control room.
The rental fee for the teleprompter includes the operator fee, set up and clear up after the event.
AUDIO RECORDING
Sometimes an event requires sound to be recorded, either in part or completely.
To ensure the recording is high quality, a professional audio recording service is required, including a high-quality audio recording device as well as an experienced operator.
Our audio recording service includes high-quality audio recorder equipment, as well as an experienced audio recording operator. The results of the recording can be delivered as soon as the event is over or may be edited and sent on a subsequent day.
RENTAL FEES
The fees for equipment rental vary depending on the type of equipment, amount ordered, location of the event and other factors. Please contact us regarding interpreter equipment rental, and/or other equipment rentals to suit your needs.
PAYMENT
The Republic of Indonesia Regulation No.7/2011 article 21 states:
1) The Indonesian Rupiah shall be used in:
a. Each transaction for the purposes of payment
b. The settlement of any other obligations that must be met with money; and or
c. Any other financial transactions that occur within the Region of the United Republic of Indonesia.
As a result, we only accept your payment in Indonesian Rupiah. Payment can be made via bank transfer, cash or other agreed upon methods.
